Hello everyone, this is my first post on the VideoMinutes’ blog! I wanted to give you all an update on our efforts to bring greater transparency and accessibility to local governments across the U.S. To support the new emphasis on Open Government in the State of New York, we’ve expanded our efforts in the Empire State. We had the pleasure of attending the New York State Association of Counties legislative conference in Albany last week.
At the conference, we were able to share with attendees the solutions that our company has been providing to local governments in PA, NJ, and MD to capture and publish their public meetings to the web. There was a great deal of interest in how our technology works and they were surprised at how easy it is to implement a solution that offers such a great stride forward in transparency. We look forward to the possibility of working with government officials in New York (and elsewhere) to help them become more open, transparent, and engaged with citizens to build strong communities.
